Breast Is Best…

Well that is what the American Academy of Pediatrics says anyway. While I’m not here to push my lifestyle of sorts on those who choose to take a different feeding path BUT being a veteran nurser of over 9 years with all 4 of my babies. I’m here to share my love of breastfeeding and encourage all women to give it a try, IF you choose too AND your body allows it. Here are some excellent nursing aids that I found on Etsy.

Bringing Home Baby Girl, Zebra Edition

Every new mom wants to dress their little girls up like baby dolls. They purchase loads of onesies, rompers, dresses, etc. I know that I’m guilty of this myself especially when my fourth child was born, she was born after a 7 year boy out. LOL Guess it’s needless to say that she is spoiled rotten. :)

It’s already been established that I love the color pink but I’m going through a zebra phase right now, so I thought I’d find some cute baby girl goodies that combine the two. No matter if this is your first girl or your fifth, check out these awesome Etsy finds to bring home your little Princess.

I couldn’t not mention the Onesie Cuddle Sacs by MariahMade, they look too adorable and I would be honored to have my little girl wear this on her trip home… If she were a newborn that is. LOL I just love the Paula Prass Summer Soire Party Animal but I would ask if I could get a pink ribbon instead of a red. ;)

Said hat is the reason why I would need for the ribbon to pink instead of red. LOL This little beanie is too cute!

While some people may prefer satin, I’m a minky girl all the way. It’s just soooo butter soft.

National Procrastination Week

Are you putting something off that you’ve been wanting to do for a long time? Did you know that this is National Procrastination Week (March 1-7)? I can honestly say that I didn’t know this but received an email this morning from one of the email newsletters that I’m subscribed too.

While I wasn’t expecting the email, it sort of put a light on my current situation. I’ve being putting off “officially” starting my own indie business. See for yourself, check out my Pür Harmony etsy shop that I’ve had since 2008. I intended to use it but haven’t really looked back since signing up. For one reason or other I wasn’t able to actually get started and I’ve decided that it’s time to take a chance on myself, talents & abilities like the Indie Designers/Artists that I feature here and are already there.

Am I scared? Of course I am! It feels like I’m about to show my soul to everyone in hopes that they like what they see. :) Here’s to letting go of my fears and taking a chance on me!

Cover Up Your Baby Bump with Stylish Belly Bands

I remember when I was pregnant with my fourth child, my shirts didn’t quite fit they way that I wanted them too. I refused to wear ugly maternity tops that as my mother-in-law would always say “let my belly breathe”. I would wear normal t-shirts that were a size or two too big but that got to be really old, really fast. So I opted to wear my normal size but would use a belly band that I had purchased from a friend who was experimenting. Who knew that in four short years that they would be all the rage?

System 63 caught my eye because they offer a wide variety of stylish prints which the snow leopard above was my fav. But I had to include the belly bands by Turtle Turtle for being organic and My Mommy Boutique for being pink, I love the color pink. :)

Modern Maternity Hospital Gowns

I remember when I went into the hospital with my first child back in 2000, I wore that ugly blue gown that tied on the side and felt all frumpy. No I didn’t feel special or radiant in the least especially AFTER my daughter was born when the gown just hung on me like old rags. Here I am 10 years later and the offerings a worlds better. While browsing Etsy last week, I just happened across some very stylish hospital maternity gowns. Here are my favs that really caught my eye but you can look on Etsy for yourself and see which ones appeal to you.

Inaugural Post

Welcome to Pür Harmony, my blog about motherhood, marriage, fashion (style) and entrepreneurship. I’m Mish, the resident mommy of 4 and wife to my perfect match. I’ll be honest it hasn’t been the easiest going from independent woman to married with children but it has definitely been a fun, enjoyable ride. LOL I’ve learned to expect the unexpected and appreciate what I’ve been given.

So what exactly will you find here at Pür Harmony, I’m not sure. LOL Just kidding! This is my place to share my tidbits with other women about mommyhood, marriage, my idea of style/fashions and entrepreneurship. Not to mention that I’ll share the latest finds in maternity, baby and children apparel and accessories that I come across while surfing the web. That’s will be more the majority of what this blog is about. Bringing emerging, as well as, seasoned Indie Designers to the masses. Buy Indie when possible!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you find something you like or advice that will let you know that you are not alone. :)
